The breakfast offered a good variety of choice, fresh and well presented. The lady who worked in the kitchen (for hot breakfasts and setting out/ clearing away), was happy and efficient. The location within the old city walls was excellent, although one could not park in the street, the free car parking was only 8 minutes away. Being in the town, proximity to restaurants and bars was first class. Not a busy place, so strolling through town one did not have to negotiate traffic. All staff including the owner, were delightful and helpful.

A short but wonderful stay at Palazzo Pacini! Pietro was so warm and welcoming to us. They responded to our questions very quickly and provided us with a delicious buffet style breakfast that we were able to enjoy on the patio overlooking a Tuscan hillside. The room was very large and spacious, as was the bed and shower (both huge!). Everything was clean and well maintained. The hotel is located in the quaint little town of Colle Val d’Elsa which is only a 30 minutes from Siena and 1 hour from Florence. We would have been happy to stay longer!

A beautiful Palazzo which provides a haven from the heat. The rooms are an oasis of calm and wonderfully cool without the noise and dry air caused by air conditioners. The bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of juices, cereals, fruit and pastries and fluffy omelettes. All served on a terrace overlooking the weren’t garden and distant views. The welcome to the Palazzo is warm and inviting. It was our second time here and we will visit again when in that area of Italy.

The room was huge and beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed too. We had everything on our doorstep and the views were incredible! The hosts at the palazzo were very kind and answered all my queries before arriving and during our stay. Recommending restaurants and wine tours etc. I let them know I was vegan and was kindly given a vegan croissant for breakfast. The village itself is so charming, full of good restaurants and shops. Would absolutely recommend a stay there.

Beautiful room with fantastic view over the countryside. The family were very welcoming and the palazzo was incredibly well kept. Breakfast was self service with meats, cheese, yoghurt, granola, freshly made pancakes and a choice of omelette, scrambled or fried eggs which was delicious. We really enjoyed our stay at palazzo Pacini. There was also water left in the fridge in the room.

The staff at Palazzo Pacini were extremely friendly and gave us a choice of rooms when we arrived. The breakfast was delicious, a variety of food available and all made with fresh produce. Wonderful to sit on the outdoor terrace and enjoy the views of the Tuscan countryside with your morning coffee! The building was beautiful and is ideally located in the historic town with plenty of local bars and restaurants. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated with original period features. Would highly recommend!

Palazzo Pacini was our favourite place to stay while in Tuscany. We arrived after 9pm because of flight delay. Owner called and was ready to wait us. He was very welcoming and kind, showed parking area (5min walk from the hotel, public and free) and gave a lift back to the hotel. Room was spacious and very clean. Loved the area around the hotel, had very good pizza across the street. Breakfast was delicious. Loved everything.

The hotel is located in the old part of Colle. From the main square, it takes 15 mins to reach there by walk, the hotel is kinda up to the hill so the walk can be challenging sometimes. Breakfast was outstanding. It offers various choices and served in a terrace with a view of Tuscan countryside.

Beautifully situated in a historic building that met all our desires. We opted for a smaller room that had a balcony and that view was worth it! The owner did ask if we wanted to change incase it was too small but we preferred a great balcony view over a slightly larger room. Highly recommended and the owner was lovely and even helped us find and book a wine tour during the slow season. Parking out front on street or parking lot a short stroll away.

Pietro and his beautiful wife have created an absolutely stunning experience at Palazzo Pacini. They took pride in every aspect of the property: from the bespoke room design, to the immaculate breakfast, to the most incredible location I could have imaged. Every single aspect of Palazzo Pacini was breathtaking. Describing Palazzo Pacini as pure perfection simply does not do it justice. I stayed with my sister-in-law, and while we were bother very excited about the next part of our trip, we were both moved to tears at the thought of leaving. Pietro made us so happy comfortable and at home, and his warmth and genuineness took our stay from perfection to superlative in everyway. This was truly unbeatable experience. We will stay here again and again - to the extent that we will detour through tuscany just so we can stay with Pietro again. This is not an exaggeration.
